Overview
When the subject of trauma arises, most people immediately think of extreme events: war, violence, severe accidents, or natural disasters. And indeed, such experiences can leave deep psychological scars. But what if trauma does not always manifest itself loudly? What else can give rise to trauma, and how can one even tell if one is affected?
