Overview
Lima, end of the '80s. Zorzalito, an unsuccessful singer of tangos, believes he can revive the genre adapting the fashionable songs to that musical style, against the trend of what was done in those years: adapting the old tangos and boleros to the rhythm of salsa. For this, he looks for his former promoter, Pichuco, today a successful coffee theater entrepreneur who predicts the failure of his idea. It offers, however, buy its valuable collection of vinyl records. Driven by hunger and misery Zorzalito decides to sell his records but ends up being scammed by the cynical businessman. Zorzalito returns to his poverty, but, with an indomitable tango heart, he takes his idea to the canteens of the Center of Lima, where he manages to triumph ... although only in his imagination.
