Overview

Ziarah takes to the sea in search of the remains of Tupaia, a nobleman indispensable in liaising between the Māori and James Cook’s ship in 1769. On an uninhabited Indonesian island where Tupaia is believed to be buried, Bridget Reweti telescopes then and now, relating history to contemporary ecological problems. (CIRCUIT)
