Overview

A new classmate, Lonia, joins the 7th grade of elementary school. Romek and Damian compete for her attention, which turns into a series of wild adventures. Lonia discovers life in the housing estates of Zabrze, an industrial city in Silesia. The story takes place in 1990s Poland, during the post-Soviet transformation. Everything is seen and told through the eyes of the main character. The story is based on the memories of the film’s director and screenwriter.
