Overview

Although there was no official decision by the fascist Szálasi regime to deport the entire Romany community, in the winter of 1944, thousands of Romany where send into forced labor at the German-Hungarian border. Most of them did not survive the Hungarian 'labor service' (munkaszolgálat). This winter knows many stories in which mankind's dark sides were brought to light. This is one of those stories.
