Overview

In a city ravaged by conflict, Guillermo and his sister Esmeralda take shelter in a makeshift hideout, struggling to survive. Despite the harsh circumstances and Guillermo’s resistance, Esmeralda takes in Leandro, a quiet and fearful young man. As resources dwindle, tensions within the group rise, and Esmeralda, weakened by illness, grows increasingly vulnerable. When external threats close in on their refuge, Guillermo is forced to make desperate decisions, confronting his own fears and prejudices. Ultimately, he accepts the responsibility of protecting Leandro, and in doing so, rediscovers his humanity amid the despair.
