Overview
From the first instances of human inhabitation on the island of Newfoundland, wooden punts and dories have been crucial facilitators to life on The Rock. Wooden boats anchor people to place. They are both a vessel to take one out on the water, and a vessel for the stories and experiences that define Newfoundland.
