Overview

Until the beginning of the 20th century, transgender people were invisible. How did we go from a world that sought discretion to an organized social group demanding rights? From Coccinelle and Bambi to Marie Cau, the first transgender mayor in 2020, from the “cabaret years” to the rise of the transgender pride movement, this film tells the chaotic story of several generations who have succeeded one another in gaining the beginnings of respect and recognition.
