Overview
The inclusive ensemble of the Reutlingen theater “Die Tonne” deals with Germany's Nazi past in its play “Hierbleiben ... Spuren nach Grafeneck” (Stay Here ... Traces of Grafeneck). In Grafeneck, 10,654 people who were considered “unworthy of life” under National Socialism were murdered in a gas chamber within a year in 1940. Industrial killing was tested on the social group of disabled and mentally ill people as an example. The film SPUREN NACH GRAFENECK (Traces of Grafeneck) accompanies the protagonists during the creation and performance of the street theater play and takes a look at their different lives and views: how relevant are the events of the past today?
