Tokyo Dyke!

Overview

An intimate documentary that follows the journey of two female directors through surprisingly lesbian Tokyo. They take us past Shinjuku-Nichome, where the gay center of Tokyo is located. Here we get to know six women who lead their daily lives there: a photographer, a trendy young lady, a legend of the lesbian nightlife, an activist, a mother and a young manga artist. These women speak very openly about their dreams and their current lives, which take place between the women's bars of Tokyo and their traditional Japanese values.
