Overview

A deaf boy in the era of totalitarian Czechoslovakia faces a major turning point in his life – the beginning of compulsory attendance at a special boarding kindergarten. While he has no idea what the future holds, his mother is going through an inner struggle, grappling with a system she cannot change.
