Overview
It's 2003. The Thunder Platoon, a group of Colombian army soldiers between the ages of 18 and 23, is celebrating its latest combat victory at a farm in the tropics: they have killed nine suspected guerrillas. Under the blazing sun, amid laughter, music, and alcohol, they are also celebrating that their commander, Montoya, will soon be decorated for his tireless work in the fight against "terrorism."
