This was the 64th Tattoo to be staged at the Scottish capital's ancient castle, where the country's outstanding landscapes, amazing wildlife, stirring music and evocative environment helped provide the inspiration for Edinburgh's showpiece military spectacular, as it celebrated the Year of Natural Scotland.
