Overview
In the remote Andes of southern Chile, a Mapuche-Pehuenche group faces extreme climates each year, from harsh winters to arid summers. This documentary follows three families as they reveal their lives, deeply connected to nature. From gathering piñones — the fruit of the sacred Pewen — to practicing ancient crafts and exploring new activities like tourism, they keep alive the customs passed down through generations.
