Overview

The Invasion of Nintendo is the third promotional videotape put out by Nintendo Power, and notably the first promotional tape to spotlight multiple Nintendo games. The main feature is presented with a framing device in which a mysterious Big Brother-like entity sends his trio of minions to infiltrate Nintendo's game testing laboratories for tips on Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Killer Instinct, and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The video also features sneak peeks at Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Ken Griffey, Jr.'s Winning Run, as well as footage of the 1995 Shoshinkai trade show, featuring the first looks at the Nintendo 64.
