Overview
A documentary film that tells the story of Lieutenant General Saad El-Din El-Shazly, the former Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Army and the mastermind behind the crossing operation in the October 6, 1973 War. The film stops at various stages in the life of Lieutenant General El-Shazly, starting with his childhood as a young child in one of the Egyptian villages, then his enrollment in the Military College and his professional career in the Royal Guard and his participation in the Palestine War, then his founding of the Paratrooper Forces, then his command of the first Arab battalion in the Congo, then his participation in the wars of 1967 and 1973, until his transfer after that to London with the rank of ambassador until he became an opponent of the regime and finally his return to Egypt and spending a year and a half in prison
