Overview
This is the first feature made in the “Monpa" dialect of the Indo-Tibetan branch of languages, spoken in the hilly Himalayan region, bordering Tibet and Bhutan, in the districts West Kameng & Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh in India. This film deals with polyandry in a small society called Brokpas, a society of "Yak Shephards" who live in the mountain slopes of the Himalayan range.
