Overview

The collapse of a long abandoned coal mine derails a train, blocking the Harecastle Tunnel, and the contaminated cargo floods downward until it meets the forgotten bodies of a dozen men, entombed in the coal seam, whose memory the wealthy had contrived to erase. The reign of the undead begins in Kidsgrove.
