Overview
The village of Končanica near Daruvar, Croatia, is populated primarily by ethnic Czechs who had moved into the area during the 18th century. Despite the fact that many of the them had spent centuries away from their motherland, they still try to keep their language and traditions alive. And one of those traditions is the traditional Czech carnival practiced yearly by the locals.
