Overview
The Spanish colonization of the Philippines is in its infancy. Somewhere in a small village in the province of Cagayan, the townsfolk believe a young lady named Pinang was being possessed by an evil spirit. Pinang's parents have unwavering faith that Father Vacion's rituals and mumblings would cure their daughter of her supposed affliction. Soleng, Pinang's dear friend, thought otherwise.
