Overview

Every year, music lovers of all stripes make a summer pilgrimage to Colorado's San Juan Valley for the world-famous Telluride Bluegrass Festival, started in 1974 by a band called Fall Creek. Camping equipment in tow, concertgoers hop in their Volkswagen busses and sport utility vehicles and head for the "Woodstock of the West." Featured performers include Nickel Creek, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Waifs and the Hackensaw Boys.
