Overview

After becoming the sole survivor of her family's mass murder, Sybilla moves overseas to the U.S. to live with a distant cousin, an isolated widow. When cousin Hester discovers Sybilla's unrefined ability to conjure the dead, she becomes obsessed with harnessing it.
