Surface area of polyhedrons

Overview

So far in the unit on area in the series on measurement, Daniel has been looking at the area of plane 2-dimensional or flat shapes. In this movie, Daniel extends our understanding of area to 3-dimensional shapes called polyhedrons. This movie looks at what surface area is, what polyhedrons are (specifically prisms and pyramids), nets and composite shapes.
