Overview
In May of each year, in the remote Philippine town of Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, a group of gay men performs a Christian festival in drag. Known as the "Santacruzan", the festival celebrates the discovery of the Holy Cross in the third century by Saint Helen. The acceptance of these men by the local townspeople is the beginning of a surprising and moving portrait of gay life in this small, farming community.
