Twenty years ago, AJ returned from San Francisco and began hosting parties to give Taiwanese lesbians a place to meet, dance, and feel free. What started with a few hundred attendees has grown into LEZS Party, a cornerstone of lesbian culture in Taiwan and Asia, expanding into media and branding while paralleling Taiwan’s equal rights movement.
