Overview
Over a century has passed since the genocide of the Ovaherero and Nama people, yet Germany and Namibia continue to grapple with memory and accountability, as the legacy of colonialism shapes the present. While the governments negotiate a diplomatic agreement, the voices of descendants are often ignored. By hearing directly from the affected communities, the film places these voices at the forefront, exposing the tensions behind political processes and asking what genuine justice and reconciliation could look like.
