Overview
During the years that Hassan Sabah was studying Ismaili teachings and traveling to Egypt, the Seljuks became very powerful with the help of the Minister self, and Malikshah was the third powerful Seljuk sultan, who had friendly relations with the Abbasid caliphate. The common concern of the caliphate and the monarchy during this period was the uprisings in Syria that spread to Egypt, the center of the Fatimid caliphate.
