Overview
A story about jongo (caxambu), a form of music and dancing of African origin which is considered the "father" of samba. The story is told from the perspective of descendents of black slaves. The documentary shows the encounter between "jongueiros" (people who practice jongo) from São José da Serra and a jongo group from Serrinha.
