Overview

This film portrays the work of peasants from the Escambray mountains, in the Province of Villa Clara, Cuba. There, agroecology emerged as a solution to the economic and agri-food crisis of the so-called Special Period, after the fall of the socialist camp, at the end of the 20th century.
