Overview

Kemboja, a university lecturer, is friends with Asyraf, an owner of an international advertising company who prioritizes English and Western culture. Asyraf visits Kemboja's house to meet his family. Kemboja's family is rich with Malay culture in their daily lives. Asyraf feels uncomfortable and thinks he has been made a fool of by Kemboja's family. Kemboja is disappointed with Asyraf for giving in so easily. Kemboja is also disappointed with his father for the way he treated Asyraf. Kemboja enters into a cold war with his father. Dato Meor gives Asyraf a second chance on the condition that Asyraf must understand and appreciate the Malay people within a month. Kemboja helps Asyraf attend classes in Malay history, culture and language with a professor at his university.
