Takagishi utilizes fragments of films, either out of context or collaged with other carefully preserved detritus, to create transfixing sequences of people in motion (or not). Daniel Knox—a venerated local musician and former Music Box projectionist responsible for two wide-reaching David Lynch retrospectives—complements the imagery with a lulling score. - Cinephile
