Overview

Somewhere in the north of Belgium there is a small village where pigeons occupy the sky, men occupy the land and the horizon is a frontier. This is where Karel lives, a pigeon fancier. Katrien was born here. From her parents house she could almost see the house of Karel. One day, like Karels pigeons, she left. But unlike most pigeons, she did not return.
