Overview
Two sisters grieve their parents in opposite ways — Lamia drowns herself in work and responsibility, Maria surrounds herself with community. Though they share an apartment, they are completely alone in it. When exhaustion costs Lamia her job, she says nothing. She job-hunts in silence until one night everything spills out — the firing, the rejections, and the real reason she pulled away from the community. The confrontation cracks them both open. Maria stays. She offers her savings, her presence, and one condition — that Lamia comes to the community gathering just once. She goes. Things shift. Not completely. But enough.
