Twenty years after filming The Anderson Platoon, Pierre Schoendoerffer travels to the United States in search of survivors, including Lieutenant Anderson. Most of them come from working-class backgrounds, and those who survived their bullet wounds are still nursing their psychological wounds, which run much deeper. Reminiscence remains one of the most moving documentaries about the aftermath of war.
