Overview

At 6'8" GCN's Conor Dunne was the world's tallest pro cyclist. His bikes have been consistently mocked for having enormous head tubes and rolling on the same 700C wheel size as everyone else. Following his retirement in 2019, Conor goes in search of answers! He’ll explore the history and development of wheel sizes on modern road bikes and attempt to build a bespoke bike with wheels proportional to his height. Has the bike industry overlooked the final frontier in free speed or does size really matter?
