Overview
Arjun’s life collapses when a plane crash kills his wife and daughter, leaving him empty and homeless. Wandering the streets, he survives on scraps until he sees a toy—once his daughter’s—now with a ragpicker. Something breaks open inside him. He follows the man to the dumpyard and, driven by hunger, begins stealing to survive. When the ragpicker confronts and slaps him, Arjun snaps—killing him and taking his cart. Survival soon turns darker. After briefly hiding in a student’s house and fleeing recognition, he escapes Delhi by train. In Mumbai, Arjun reinvents himself, slipping into society as a kabadiwala—his past buried, his monster within quietly growing.
