Overview

Paul O’Toole died on the streets of Burlington, Vermont on December 17, 2011. The film shows how the death of his wife caused him to go through a generous trust due to heavy drinking and opiate abuse which led to him losing everything and living on the streets. The Burlington Police found him unresponsive on a heat grate on the coldest night of the year. The movie is based on Jim Ellefson’s poem “In Dreams Paul Returns to Tell Us What It's Like.” Jim was a close friend of Paul’s.
