Overview

The film is about Captain Evgeny and his crew, who, inspired by ancient Pomor traditions, build a karbas and set off on a 650-kilometer voyage from Veliky Ustyug to Arkhangelsk. Overcoming the difficulties of the journey, the heroes immerse themselves in the rich culture of the Pomors, reviving forgotten crafts and skills. This journey becomes a symbol of the continuity of generations and demonstrates how ancient knowledge can inspire modern people to feats and discoveries.
