Overview

According to the custom of pre-revolutionary Moldovan villages, a young girl who had been deceived by a boy could come to his house, climb onto the stove, and refuse to come down until the seducer agreed to marry her. A film adaptation of the story of the same name by M. Kotsyubinsky.
