Overview
In 2016 a Florida panther was intentuonally blinded by a hunter and left to die a slow, painful death by starvation. The cat was subsequently “rescued” and is currently held in the captivity of a private zoo. This show is the result of empathetic over-identification with an apex predator, the primordial seduction of human/animal hybridity, and a seething fear that we’ve all lost our eye for evil.
