Overview

Early 1970s, a remote Buryat village near the Mongolian border, when Soviet authorities ban the activity of lamas and shut down the datsans. Balma’s world stops the day her son leaves for war. Since then, she sees her child only in dreams, while clinging to the hope of his return.
