Overview

The story tells of a man who reluctantly inherits and protects a powerful spirit from his father. However, over time he gradually grows fond of the spirit under his care. After many years, as he approaches the end of his life, Pak Harun begins to realize and tries to dispose of the powerful spirit which has started to disturb the village residents. Especially when his daughter breaks off her engagement because of his protection of the spirit. Pak Harun finally disposes of the powerful spirit with the help of a religious teacher. Pak Harun eventually passes away, and his children and wife move away after his death.
