Using interviews with some of her contemporaries, photos, and archival television footage, Director and narrator Karen Snow tries to capture the talent, beauty and magical quality that her Mother, Maxine Berke, possessed in her dancing career on stage and television. Starting in the mid-1940s through the 1950s, Maxine achieved her artistic dream.
