Overview

Arkin harbored a profound sense of guilt after his girlfriend, Livi, a journalist, died during the genocide in Gaza. This guilt stemmed from Arkin's inability and failure as a human being to accompany his girlfriend in her fight for truth in the city. Consequently, he decided to write a final poem for Livi as an act of atonement for his guilt, along with an inexpressible sense of loss, and as a final expression of his love.
