Overview
A filmed series of live Metallica concerts backed by the San Francisco Symphony. The first set of concerts were held on April 21–22, 1999 at The Berkeley Community Theater and saw the orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen. The orchestra was conducted by both Edwin Outwater and Michael Tilson Thomas during the second set of concerts, which took place at the newly opened Chase Center on September 6-8, 2019.
