Overview
Matthias Santiago Staehle writes bilingual poems: in his mother's Chilean Spanish and his father's German. "Mar, maduro y atrevido" (Sea, ripe and daring) narrates his lyrical odyssey of longing from Santiago, the capital of Chile, along the coast, passing through Valparaíso, to Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego.
