MEDULLACHROME TEST

Overview

I found this reel at a flea market. I needed some disposable footage to run a couple of tests. A family sits at the table, then a trip to the mountains, the anonymous faces of these people are erased and eroded, leaving behind dense clumps of color that reanimate scenes more than half a century old. As if they were thawing and then exploding into clusters, stratifications, and mixtures of pigment/material, similar to what happened at Outpost #31 in Antarctica.
