Overview
In the 16th century, Ukraine suffered from the attacks of Tatars who destroyed the lands, burning houses and taking Ukrainian young people with them as prisoners. It happened with Marusia, who became one of the Khan's concubines. She managed not only to conquer the outlandish ruler, but release of hostages and her compatriots.
