Overview
In 1981, Brazilian writer Sergio Faraco contacted Mario Arregui because he wanted to translate the Uruguayan writer's short stories into Portuguese. This marked not only the beginning of the creation of the short story collection “Cavalos do amanhecer” (Horses of Dawn), but also the start of a deep friendship between them, conducted almost entirely through letters. “Mario Arregui and Sergio Faraco - Friendship without Borders” is a documentary that seeks to understand a statement made by Faraco about this friendship: “He was my greatest and dearest friend. And I only saw him once.”
