Overview

This slideshow installation is about the "Magic Box" that the artist and AIDS activist David Wojnarowicz kept under his bed until he died in 1992. The slideshow was originally installed at Longwood Art Center in the Bronx in 2005, and was reproduced for the 2014 Whitney Biennial as part of Julie Ault's installation Afterlife and for her exhibition at Galerie Buchholz New York. 2005–15.
